Information we handle

Most tools run entirely in your browser. Except for the optional third-party requests described below, tool inputs, results, passwords, VINs, JWTs, and uploaded files are not uploaded to us. The site has no user accounts or user database. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and message and use them to respond to you.

Our hosting provider processes request information such as your IP address, browser or device information, requested URL, and timestamp to deliver and protect the site. We do not use server logs to build visitor profiles.

Optional third-party requests

Certain optional actions contact third parties:

• Requesting full vehicle specifications in the VIN Decoder sends the VIN to the NHTSA vPIC service.
• In Markdown Preview, external images are blocked by default. If you enable them, your browser connects directly to the image host, which may receive your IP address and request information.

Neither action occurs unless you choose it.
